The life-saving units are being installed at the Eco-Power stadium as part of a campaign called “One in Every Corner” to enhance fan safety across stadiums and sporting venues across the UK. The initiative is being driven by popular England football fan Paul Gregory, otherwise affectionately known as “Tango” following the passing of his daughter Lauren Walker. Paul’s goal is to create a legacy in Lauren’s memory.
The One in Every Corner campaign aims to protect fans and communities by placing defibrillators in every corner of football stadiums and sporting venues across the UK.
The project has a cost of over £8000 for Doncaster Rovers with the funds raised by football fans and supporters of the scheme including a generous donation made by leading UK independent power producer Enviromena.
To commemorate the anniversary of Lauren’s Legacy and launch the arrival of the donated devices, officials from Doncaster Rovers invited representatives from Red Sky Foundation and Enviromena alongside Rovers fan and cardiac arrest survivor Brian Hindmarch and his wife at the club’s recent home fixture against Stockport County to officially unveil the new equipment and highlight the campaign’s growing national rollout.
Welcoming the generous donation to the club, first team manager Grant McCann, said: “This donation to the club will provide such a vital, lifesaving resource for those that use the stadium.
“We know how the importance of early CPR and access to a defibrillator is in saving lives. Having 4 additional units will give peace of mind to supporters and also to members of the public in our local community around the Eco-Power Stadium.
Red Sky Foundation’s founder Dr. Sergio Petrucci MBE said: “Statistics show only 1 in 10 people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest, its our mission to help place defibrillators in as many public spaces as possible as the chance of survival can increase up to 80%. Installing these defibrillators at the Eco-Power Stadium is especially meaningful coming so soon after Lauren’s anniversary, and we encourage all fans of Doncaster Rovers to get behind the campaign and show some support for a very important cause. We are extremely grateful to our corporate partner Enviromena for their contribution in helping to make Doncaster Rovers our next club to benefit from the project.”
As a renewable energy company with ongoing activity in South Yorkshire, Enviromena links its environmental work with a broader commitment to community wellbeing. Supporting the installation of lifesaving equipment at the Eco-Power Stadium aligns with that ethos.

Enviromena is currently progressing the 40 MW Marr Solar Farm proposal, which has the potential to bring significant investment into the Doncaster area and provide further financial support for community projects and initiatives through a £200,000 community benefit fund.
