Operations and Maintenance team earns Enviromena a second award shortlisting in one week

Enviromena, a leading independent power producer, is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for two major industry awards in the same week, recognising both its operational excellence and project innovation.

The company is a finalist in the O&M Provider of the Year category at the Solar & Storage Live Awards 2025, highlighting the strength of Enviromena’s approach to long-term site performance.

Enviromena currently manages nearly 400MWp of operational assets across the UK and is actively expanding this portfolio through new long-term O&M contracts. Alongside this, Enviromena continues to advance a separate 3GW pipeline of solar projects in development, highlighting its dual focus on both asset ownership and third-party O&M services.

Its O&M offering includes 24/7 SCADA monitoring, proactive and reactive maintenance and a standout repowering programme, modernising ageing solar sites to maximise asset life and reduce downtime. By the end of the year, Enviromena will have repowered nine sites with more targeted in 2026.

Chris Marsh, CEO of Enviromena, said: “O&M is a vital pillar of our business, and this shortlisting reflects the exceptional dedication of our team. As we grow our managed portfolio, we’re looking to partner with more asset owners seeking long-term, performance-led support for their sites.”

The announcement was made in the same week that Enviromena was named a finalist in the Renewable Energy Project of the Year category at the edie Net-Zero Awards 2025, in recognition of its flagship Medebridge Solar Farm in Essex.

Scheduled for energisation in Summer 2025, the 71MWp site will power 26,000 homes annually and features a landmark 10-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement with the University of Manchester.

The project delivers clean energy at scale with the flexibility and resilience required to coexist with major national infrastructure projects like the Lower Thames Crossing.

Chris added: “Medebridge being nominated for a second award this year is a testament to the scale and importance of the project, and the vision it represents for the UK’s energy future.

“I’m incredibly proud of our team for being named finalists in two major awards in one week, it shows the depth and strength of capability we’ve built across Enviromena.”
