Baynouna is the largest solar power plant ever constructed in Jordan delivering 4% of the country’s total electricity consumption. Enviromena provided the full design and engineering package and partnered with the Arabian Construction Company for the construction phase.
Enviromena now provides full O&M services to the ground-breaking 248MWp Solar Power Plant. Installed over an area of 600ha, the plant is expected to displace over 360,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year and can supply the annual power needs of over 160,000 homes.
