POSITION SUMMARY
Enviromena is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant to support the CEO and wider management team. This role requires a professional who excels in organisation, communication, and discretion. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of effectively managing a range of administrative and executive support tasks, ensuring time is used efficiently and productively.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support, including scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating appointments and meetings.
- Document Management: Draft, review, and edit documents, reports, and presentations as required. Maintain an organised filing system for easy access to important documents.
- Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications directed to the CEO. Handle emails, calls, and other correspondence with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and facilitate follow-ups on action items. Assist with coordinating high-profile stakeholder meetings and presentations.
- Travel Arrangements: Organise travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
- Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role supporting senior executives; experience within the renewable energy or related industries is advantageous.

The Head of Legal is responsible for overseeing all legal, HR, and office administration aspects of the company’s operations. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, project financing, corporate governance, human resources, and office management. This role is essential for navigating the unique legal and operational landscape of renewable energy, supporting company culture, and maintaining efficient office operations. The role will manage a team comprising three qualified solicitors, two paralegals, and an HR coordinator/office manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
Legal Strategy & Compliance
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including environmental, labour, and energy sector regulations.
- Advise on changes in renewable energy policies and regulatory frameworks, with particular attention to solar energy incentives and subsidies.
Project Finance & Transaction Management
- Lead the negotiation and structuring of project financing agreements, including debt financing, equity investments, and PPAs.
- Collaborate with finance and project teams to secure and finalise funding, ensuring compliance with financing terms and conditions.
- Manage legal due diligence for new projects, acquisitions, or divestitures.
Contract Negotiation & Management
- Review and negotiate key project documents, including EPC contracts, O&M agreements, PPAs, and land leases.
- Ensure contracts support project timelines, risk management, and financial objectives.
- Work closely with project teams to anticipate and mitigate contractual issues.
Corporate Governance & Risk Management
- Oversee corporate governance practices, including board matters, policies, and reporting.
- Develop risk management policies, identifying potential legal and operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IPP-related regulatory reporting and licensing requirements.
HUMAN RESOURCES
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Oversee HR compliance with labour laws, health and safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Provide guidance on employment contracts, dispute resolution, and performance management.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs to support employee engagement and growth.
- Monitor performance management and appraisal systems to support company goals and employee development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other insurance offerings.
- Regularly review and update compensation structures to remain competitive within the renewable energy industry.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Build and lead a high-performing legal, HR, and office administration team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
- Act as the primary legal advisor to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience
- Law degree from an accredited institution; active bar membership is required.
- Ideally a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior legal role, preferably within the energy sector, with experience in human resources and office management.
- Extensive experience with project financing, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation for large-scale energy projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of energy law, particularly renewable energy regulations, incentives, and compliance.
- Proven experience in project finance transactions, including familiarity with structuring, negotiation, and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Fundraising and Capital Strategy
- Lead capital raising efforts through equity, debt, and project finance to fund the development, construction, and operation of solar assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure the necessary financing for projects.
- Develop creative and efficient financial structures for new projects, working closely with legal and technical teams.
- Provide financial leadership in negotiations for power purchase agreements (PPAs), tax equity financing, and joint ventures when necessary.
Financial Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with business goals and growth plans.
- Manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the company’s portfolio of solar projects.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial performance of all solar assets in operation.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and projections.
Investor Relations
- Serve as the financial liaison with current and prospective investors, ensuring transparent communication and timely updates on financial performance and company milestones.

Risk Management and Compliance

Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations and renewable energy incentives.
Team Leadership

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Previous experience in the solar energy sector, power generation, or renewable energy infrastructure.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience in fundraising, particularly in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of project finance, tax equity, and structured financial products.
