Being named as one of the UK’s fastest growing solar energy company in prestigious ‘Growth 500’ awards

Leading UK clean energy solutions company Enviromena has been named as the fastest-growing solar energy company in the prestigious Business Leader Growth 500 awards.

A celebration of the UK’s top companies based on revenue performance, the Growth 500 awards bring together the country’s top companies and highlight exceptional growth across all sectors.

Named an impressive 18th overall, Enviromena’s achievement was recognised at a major event held in the Sky Garden, London’s highest public garden, located on the 35th floor of 20 Fenchurch Street.

Enviromena currently manages over 300MWp of solar assets, with a further 3GW in construction and development. Its mission is to provide safe, affordable, and reliable clean energy solutions, supporting the global transition to net zero and meeting growing power demands.

As demand for solar energy continues to build, Enviromena has now set its sights on an ambitious target of owning more than 500MW of projects by 2026.

Enviromena’s CEO Chris Marsh said: “Being named 18th in the Growth 500 – and the fastest-growing solar energy company – is an honour and shows that our commitment to sustainable development, innovation and operational excellence is delivering real impact. Consolidating our excellent position and further strengthening our commitment to capitalising on future growth, the award reflects the hard work of our dedicated team and the trust of our partners and clients as we power towards a net zero future.”

He added: “It’s especially fitting that this recognition comes as the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero publishes its updated Net Zero and Clean Energy Roadmap, which highlights just how much solar will be needed to meet climate targets. The roadmap calls for increasing installed solar capacity from around 18 GW today to at least 45 GW by 2030—more than a 140% increase in just five years, with the potential to go even further.”

“Our growth speaks to the trust our partners place in us, as well as the strong fundamentals and rising investor interest in established, large-scale renewable energy platforms. As demand for new capacity continues to build, we remain focused on delivering clean energy projects that create long-term, resilient value for investors, customers and communities.”

Graham Ruddick, Editor-in-Chief at Business Leader, said: “The Growth 500 is the most comprehensive list ever put together about the fast-growing businesses in the UK and who they really are. Being included in the Growth 500 is a huge achievement for a business and shows it is at the forefront of its sector and the UK economy.”

Headquartered in the UK with a regional office in Italy, Enviromena continues to lead by example through robust ESG frameworks, biodiversity commitments and a mission to leave every site in better condition than when first found.
