Solar Performance Analyst

Enviromena is a leading solar Independent Power Producer (IPP) dedicated to accelerating the global shift to sustainable energy.

We develop, own, and operate solar projects that generate reliable, clean energy. Our commitment is to harness the power of the sun to create a sustainable future, providing affordable and renewable energy to communities and businesses.

The role of Solar Performance Analyst will primarily focus on analysing asset performance and calculating and reporting key performance indicators (such as availability, performance ratios, and event monitoring). Key responsibilities will include the daily monitoring of the power plants’ health, ensuring the quality of data, analysing energy and irradiance measurements, and performing other performance analysis tasks using Excel or other data analysis tools.

  • Calculation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other relevant performance metrics for the sites under your responsibility (e.g., Availability, Performance Ratio, etc.)
  • Conducting data analysis to identify the root cause of issues and assess their impact on overall performance.
  • Collaboration with Asset Managers and the Performance & Monitoring Team to track and resolve known issues.
  • Preparation of regular performance reports that present key performance data and provide explanations for any underperformance, including details of technical issues, underperformance events, and completed maintenance work.
  • Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives by developing new tools to streamline data analysis and automate reporting (such as scripts for automating manual calculations, improving data manipulation, or creating automated reports and dashboards).
  • Performing any other tasks as required in the course of the role.
